5. Russian Blue

This cat originates from Arkhangelsk in Russia, as its name suggests. Archangel Blues are also known as these cats. The cat is thought to have been brought from the Archangel Isles and Northern Europe in the 1860s.
As a result of the Second World War, breeders developed this specific breed over the years. Russian Blue cats were scarce during this time. Due to this, breeders crossed Siamese with other breeds.
A cat like this can get old with you over time. Ten to twenty years is its average lifespan. These cats lived as long as 25 years in some cases.
