7. Scottish Fold

In its original form, the Scottish Fold was a white barn cat with a mutation on its ear. It was registered as a new breed when its kittens were born with the same folded ears. Remember that Scottish Folds are prone to mites and deafness if you intend to purchase one. Scottish Fold cats have also been bred with British and American Short hairs for this reason.
