This beautifully painted model bus was a 1997 gift to Prince Philip and Queen Elizabeth by the British High Commission Drivers. The two Royals' images are painted on the model bus, as you can see if you look attentively. The Royal Collection Trust claims that the history of this kind of art dates back eight decades.

"Truck art" was first created in Pakistan during the 1940s, fusing traditional Sikhism and Islam themes with more contemporary aspects like Queen Elizabeth II's face. Remarkably, well-known British politician Boris Johnson enjoys painting model buses as a pastime.
