Despite being among the youngest members of the Royal Family, Prince George and Princess Charlotte continue to receive gifts from well-wishers. One of the most giving nations was Japan, which sent George and Charlotte a soft toy, two Kendama games, and a painting of a samurai helmet.

The daimyo financed and kept the samurai, the elite warriors of ancient Japan. They enjoyed great status, unique rights (like carrying two swords), and enduring influence over the ages. Even though the samurai are no longer in existence, their legendary warriors are still regarded as an important part of Japanese history and culture.
