Fans of Jurassic Park will enjoy this one. In the Urayasu neighborhood of suburban Tokyo, there are two quite intriguing new employees at the Henn-na Hotel. There are robotic dinosaurs working at the front desk. The dinosaurs have sensors, and they let out a loud "WELCOME" cry as soon as they detect your approach.

The dinosaurs that check people in seem kind and have little bellboy caps on. The word "weird" is henn-na, and the chain takes great satisfaction in offering a peculiar experience. Henn-na is especially happy because it is the first hotel chain with robot employees. All of the robotic dinosaurs are models of Tyrannosaurus rex, albeit much smaller than life size.
While there are many other types of robotic assistants made for customer service in Japan, these animatronic dinosaurs may be the most unusual. Nevertheless, who wouldn't like occasionally being visited by a kind of extinct reptile?
